Sehr geehrte(r) meine Damen und Herren
I have returned from my educational visit to Spain. There exist quite a few rare elderberry (sambucus) species perfect for producing wine, brandy and syrups. One such specie common in the area, the European Dwarf Elder (sambucus ebulus), while poisonous eaten raw, I have concluded would produce a quite tasty dry brandy, possibly capable of the classification of Hors D'age or at least Very Superior Old Pale.
But I was lucky enough to also see two enchanting towns, Malaga and Sevilla (Seville for you Americanos), and the big ugly capital Madrid. I must say, I still prefer Italy. I guess the appeal of Spain for most people is sitting on the beach and getting intoxicated - not something I find my self dabbling in often.
I shall forgo my normal pic/comment rant for the sake of my future prosperity and livelihood, for I must search for a new career. As Dante would say: "Predestination! how remote and dim; Thy root lies hidden from the intellect; Which only glimpses the First Cause Supreme!" - I guess that means a little effort might make a difference..
I've altered my last post, check it out.
