My Stock portfolio's Requiem Mass

These stocks need to do well over the next 6 months or else I starve: GE, MCHX, YHOO, EMC, BSX.

Why in 6 months time will I be not be starving but in fact fat? Because:

General Electric (NYSE:GE) - Solid, general, unbankruptable (the company is so big it can actually issue paper money, called commercial paper) really!

Marchex, INC. (NasdaqNM:MCHX) - Marchex, Inc. quote "connects merchants with consumers who search for information, products, and services on the Internet providing merchant advertisers with various technology-based services, including pay-per-click advertising listings that are reflective of its merchant advertisersÂ’ products and services to online users in response to their keyword search queries; feed management services to extract product content from merchant advertisersÂ’ databases and Web sites; advertising campaign management services to track and monitor the placement of search advertising campaigns across various search engines and pay-per-click networks, as well as to evaluate the effectiveness of online advertising campaigns; and search engine optimization services to ensure the proper indexing, listing, and inclusion in the editorial results of algorithmic search engines."
END QUOTE!!!!! That's one sentence!! This company has everything a hollow, speculative stock should have - low EPS, recent IPO, inflated stock price, and an INTERNET COMPANY!! Good buy!

Yahoo! (NasdaqNM:YHOO) - Yaaaaahhhooooooooo! The commercials sold me. Plus any company named after an otomotopia must have a bright future! Snarf! Whhhrrrrrrr Kaaaaplung (that's supposed to be a whistle sound with crash)

EMC Corp. (NYSE:EMC) - Booooorrrring!!!

Boston Scientific CP (NYSE:BSX) - Makes scientific stuff in Boston, hey that's where MIT, Boston College, Harvard, Berklee College of Music, Boston Conservatory, the Boston Architectural Center, Emerson College, Emmanuel College, Fisher College, the Massachusetts College of Art, the New England Conservatory of Music, New England School of Law, Northeastern University, Simmons College, Suffolk University, University of Massachusetts Boston, Wheelock College, and Wentworth Institute of Technology, Babson College, Bentley College, Brandeis University, Hellenic College, Lesley University, the Longy School of Music, Merrimack College, Pine Manor College, Regis College, Stonehill College, Tufts University, Wheaton College and Wellesley College, among others are located. That's a whole lotta of science. Sure winner! (just don't click on the hyperlinks because they link to porn)

So, I know I'm a little tech heavy particularly in that moneyless black pit called the internet. But that's where to future is! The Matrix told me so.

Oh, and before I went on this stock buying binge. I was on Bodensee (lake Constancenz) for a little death metal and punk concert worship!

Here is the German version of camping in the wild:

ooooooooo!! Scary!

The tent I slept in was made for tiny people - like everything in Europe.

Bier is about the only big thing in Europe... except

ROCK AM SEE!!!! (that translates to Punk/Metal Death Festival that Smelled like Piss on Beautiful Turquoise Lake)

Before the concert I was my typical self: intelligent, conservatively-dumb, well-dressed, little peevish, sorta like so:

After: the same but a little drunker:

Twas a good weekend. Fortunately I have always Mondays and work to look forward to.

That might be my next post. What I actually do 5/7ths of the time here: work :(

**Please noteI i actually extended my traineeship until Christmas on account of the :(

Why don't you visit my page anymore!!

I receive every week an update on how many people have visited my site and for how long. This week was particularly depressing. Last week, visitors totaled 6. With, and this is the good part, an average stay of... 0.01 Min!!!!!! That is ONE second! I don't even know how the hell that is possible. (I used to get 3-4 a day averaging 4 1/2 min!, but that was when I was actually cool) But considering it probably does not take 7 weeks for anyone to read one post (cause that is about how often I update now), I really can't complain. So here is some more to chew on.

So the weekend after I last posted was the yearly town festival with Quack Women:

Actually the festival rocked and looked more like this.

This is actually how it would have looked if you had stepped out my front door where I currently live - right smack dab in the Altstadt. I moved!

Old room:

New room:

Not to mention there are about 5000 other positives about where I live now. I won't bother sausage you with bars the particulars beer considering most everyone pimping reading fine cuisine really doesn't have fruity smoothies any concerts idea about beautiful historic city centre Tuebingen or Germany bells in general.

So then I went to an AIESEC conference on lake Constance. Really what I did was the Saturday night Tanzschiff, or Booze Cruise. AIESECer's have this really funny dance that every member on earth can do, it looks like this:

I think that there are probably about 25 different nationalities in that picture - that was one of the coolest things about that debrauchery...
(I am inserting the little black bars across the eyes of everyone so you don't know who they are! I've always wondered why anyone thought this worked?)

On a completely random note, I'd like to point out one cool pic. A study abroad student named Eric made this and it just plain rocks!

Props, Eric, props!

Ohh, I also checked out the Tour de France about a month ago. After travel, finding a place to stand, waiting, waiting and more waiting this is what I looks like for about 10 seconds.

But I did get this close to Mr. 7 time champion Lance "the Blade" Armstrong!

So my cousin from Texas came out to visit me two weeks ago! It was his first time in Europe and I was sick of the shitty weather (did I mention that this summer is supposed to be one of the coldest, rainiest, summers on record! They have been keeping records for over 150 years!) we decided to go somewhere warm, different, and with lots of naked women... where might that be? The French Riviera baby!

Here is Emily indulging in a nice glass of "Pschitt!" lemon flavored water... mmmmmmmm!

We also went to Monaco which has more Lambos and Ferrari's than people!

Last week my parents and bother visited. To get a better idea of what the vacation was like this picture about sums it up:

Actually, after 2 wonderful nights in perfect Tuebingen when ventured down south to Australia.. I mean Northern Italy. We did manage to find a nice little Limon City on the edge of a nice little Alps feed lake, with nice little restaurants, and of course, the best thing about Italy, nice little women!

After that we went on a nice little, actually huge and long road trip to Croatia!! We did manage to find a nice little tourist town called Ronjiv:

But the best thing about Ronjiv was were we stayed. You might think in poor soviet Russia money goes a long way... actually no. Guck mal:

And we found time to scuba. My brother was so gung ho, he gave us a Popeye grunt (pictured)and tooted a few times right before the dive.

Next stop was Arnold Schwarzenegger Stadium (you all know how you're supposed to say that, and I know when you read it, you pronounced his name with your best Arnold Schwarzenegger accent.. see you did it again!) in Graz.

The city has brilliantly mixed modern architecture with a perfectly preserved old 1600's charm:

Oh Vienna was cool too!

I must say I was great seeing the Fam! My brother appropriately labeled the trip as a "Blitzkrieg through Europe" (because they drove about 1500 miles in 2 weeks).

That's all for this post folks! Check back soon, and shoot me a line if you wanna talk shop!
